Text of 1996 JonBenet ransom note 
On the morning of December 26, 1996, JonBenet’s mother Patsy Ramsey reported finding a 2 1/2 page note on a set of stairs in the Ramsey home. Directed to JonBenet’s father John Ramsey, the note purported to be from “a small foreign faction” calling itself S.B.T.C. The note demanded $118,000 from the Ramseys for the safe release of their daughter. JonBenet’s body was found later that day in the
